Enjoy life in beautiful Charlottesville — a vibrant college town with outstanding quality of life, outdoor recreation, and a thriving cultural scene.
We are actively recruiting postdoctoral fellows with backgrounds in genomics, computational biology, molecular biology, or lung biology. Strong candidates will have expertise in one or more of: single-cell genomics, GWAS analysis, CRISPR editing, organoid culture, or machine learning applied to biological data.
We welcome rotation students and thesis students from UVA's Ph.D. programs including Genetics & Genomics, Biomedical Sciences, Data Science, and related fields. Students with interests in GWAS functional studies, single-cell genomics, lung disease, or computational methods are encouraged to reach out.
We are looking for motivated research scientists and lab staff with hands-on experience in molecular biology, cell culture, or bioinformatics to support our growing research program and the Center for Translational Genomics.
Motivated UVA undergraduate students interested in gaining research experience in genomics or lung biology are welcome to inquire. Students will have the opportunity to contribute to real research projects under close mentorship.
